Recipe of the Week: Simple Vodka Soda
Fancy cocktails with lots of ingredients are wonderful. They add some flair to otherwise mundane evenings, provide a unique outlet for creativity, and, best of all, they taste great! We love to experiment with new flavors, colors, and garnishes as much as anyone, but we also know that it’s sometimes nice to have a simple go-to beverage you can make in a snap after a long day. Enter the vodka soda.

We imagine that the vodka soda has been around for as long as vodka and soda have coexisted. It’s so simple, yet so satisfactory, with fizz, the perfect amount of strength, and plenty of flexibility (Served with an orange? Sure! A lime? Of course! Some berries? Why not!). It’s a great go-to at home or at bars, restaurants, concerts, weddings, sporting events, or anywhere else that serves drinks. Long story short, we love it!
One of the many things that we love about Cocktail Caviar is that it lets us make even basic drinks unique and fun. For our Simple Vodka Soda, we combine our favorite vodka with unflavored seltzer water, adding whatever flavor of Cocktail Caviar we’re in the mood for to create something both simple and sophisticated.
As always, feel free to get creative. Substitute your favorite flavored alternative for the plain seltzer water and let us know what Cocktail Caviar flavor is your favorite in this recipe. Please enjoy responsibly and have a great rest of the week!
