Valentine’s Day is sneaking up on us – it’s only 10 days away! Here’s a recipe for one of our favorite cocktails for you and your loved one to make this February. We call it Cupid’s Perfect Martini.
A “perfect” martini means that the recipe uses equal parts sweet and dry vermouth in addition to the base liquor. Of course, if you prefer, you can stick to the usual recipe, which includes only dry vermouth. Simply double the volume of dry vermouth and leave out the sweet.
Our recipe also includes pink gin to add an extra air of love to our cocktail. However, if you don’t have this on hand, feel free to use your favorite classic gin (or vodka). Let’s get to it!
Cupid’s Perfect Martini
- Frosted Martini Glasses
- 3 oz Pink Gin
- 1.5 oz Dry Vermouth
- 1.5 oz Sweet Vermouth
- 3 oz Strawberry Cocktail Caviar
Place two martini glasses in the freezer.
Combine the Pink Gin and Dry and Sweet Vermouths over ice.
Stir the ingredients for 10 seconds with a bar spoon.
Remove the martini glasses from the freezer.
Strain half of the mixture into each of the frosted martini glasses.
Add 1.5oz Strawberry Cocktail Caviar to each glass.
Enjoy!
We hope you enjoy this love-filled recipe this February. Keep an eye out for another Valentine’s Day cocktail recipe posted to our blog and the Unifying Spirits Instagram page next week. And, as always, please pop responsibly!
